Dan Hicks has been promoted to Chief Engineer, Digital Enterprise at Victory Solutions. We look forward to Dan's leadership in his new role as he guides the company in applications of Digital Engineering and MBSE to better serve our NASA, DoD and industry customers. Dan has been paramount in training our workforce in the use of these cutting-edge tools. Dan is featured in the July release of Huntsville/Madison County Chamber Movers & Shakers!

Congratulations to Peter Le on his recent receipt of two OMG Certified Systems Modeling Language (SysML) professional certifications, SysML Model User and SysML Fundamental Model Builder! These certifications represent the industry "stamp of approval" on Peter's SysML modeling and analysis capabilities. The achievement of these certifications also supports Victory Solutions' goal of continued development of our Digital Engineering/ MBSE workforce.
Peter currently supports NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Engineering in their Digital Transformation efforts as part of the overall NASA Agency strategic initiative to accelerate efforts to modernize and transform NASA using digital advances.

Congratulations to Stan Phillips on receiving the Mission Specialty Award from the NASA Microgravity and Life Sciences Glovebox Team! Stan, a DPA employee and member of our NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Configuration and Data Management MIPSS team, provides CM support to the International Space Station (ISS) on three different projects. This award recognizes Stan for his hard work, dedication and commitment in providing CM support to the Microgravity and Life Sciences Glovebox Team. Congratulations Stan and thank you for continuing to provide excellent support to the ISS program!

The event celebrated the amazing participants in the Patterson Place program and the educational environment offered to empower them to engage in meaningful jobs, build a sense of belonging and validate dignity and respect for these special needs adults. Small Victories made multiple donations to local charities just in time for the holidays with proceeds raised and matched by the company from the annual Christmas party fundraising raffle. Checks were delivered to Kids to Love foster care services, the New Futures homeless shelter, the Manna House food distribution program and the Veterans Initiative Program committed to eradicating veteran homelessness. We're fortunate to able to give back to the community through these wonderful local charities who do so much to help those in need in our area.

Three of our Systems Engineering Technology (SET) interns from Calhoun Community College, Anthony Sanders, Kevin Calderon and Collin Langseth, were awarded On the Spot awards from company president David Alan Smith for their excellent MBSE support provided to Boeing and the Missile Defense Agency while working on the GMD System Integration, Test, and Readiness (SITR) contract. Anthony, Kevin and Collin have been recognized by the customer for their professional attitudes, understanding and adaptability to assignments, and high quality of work. Congratulations!

Welcome to our visiting veteran heroes for Heroes Week 2023! Victory Vets, our Veterans Employee Resource Group, and Small Victories, our employee-led community support group, organized participation in the Heroes Week Welcome event at the Port of Huntsville - Huntsville International Airport. Heroes Week is sponsored by the SEMPER FI COMMUNITY TASK FORCE of North Alabama and provides the Tennessee Valley/Northern Alabama communities the chance to show their deep appreciation and recognition of these service members, their families, and caregivers. Guests are honored at events throughout the week including the Huntsville Veterans’ Day Breakfast and Parade, Marine Corps Birthday Ball, a Yacht Cruise/Dinner on Lake Guntersville and several lunches and dinners hosted by local organizations and businesses. Victory Solutions held a Ten + Year Anniversary lunch honoring employees with ten or more years of service at Bravo Italian Kitchen yesterday. Employees enjoyed a family style Italian lunch with Kris McGuire, CEO, and David Alan Smith, President, recognizing each employee individually.
